South Carolina Truck Show Set for June 25-26 in Charleston

Will be broadcast on Charleston’s premiere TV station WLCN TV 18,

and streamed via Internet around the world

Charleston, SC, (Feb. 12, 2010) – Charleston, South Carolina, home to some of the most beautiful beaches and great American history, will be the site for the South Carolina Truck Show. The event is being held this June 25 and 26 at the Faith Assembly of God Church, 337 Farmington Road, Exit 199 off I-26.

Faith Assembly of God Church is hosting the event, with all proceeds going to missions work.

The event will showcase the latest in trucking technology and equipment. Recruiters will be on hand for those seeking employment opportunities in the transportation industry.

Show trucks will be on display and trucks of all kinds will be competing for prizes in a truck “beauty contest.” Awards will be presented based on overall appearance, paint, murals, graphics, lighting, cab interior and more. A special light show competition, great fun for the entire family, is set for the night of June 25.

The South Carolina Truck Show is a part of The National Association of Show Trucks (NAST), an organization dedicated to encourage, support and promote activities related to the trucking industry by showing pride in trucks and truck operations, and to ensure uniformity, commonality and fairness in all competitive truck events.

On hand at the South Carolina Truck Show to help with all the festivities will be Lowboy Lucas, founder and star of American Trucking Report (ATR), which airs live each Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. Eastern Time on WLCN TV 18 – High-Definition Television in Charleston, South Carolina.

The South Carolina Truck Show will be broadcast on Charleston’s Premiere TV station and will be streamed via Internet around the world.

The Mid-America Trucking Show is proud to host country music legend John Anderson and award winning bluegrass band The Grascals, presented in concert by Mobil Delvac at the 2010 show this March 25-27.

With one of the most distinctive and instantly recognizable voices in country music, John Anderson has received countless awards including multiple CMA Awards, a Grammy nomination, multiple #1 singles and produced a multi-platinum album.

The Grascals are slated to open with their trademark blend of traditional bluegrass and classic country, which has earned them multiple Grammy nominations and several prestigious IBMA and SPBGMA awards.

The Mobil Delvac team unveiled its year-long sponsorship of The Grascals on September, 28, 2009, at a media luncheon kicking off the 20th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards in Nashville, TN. As part of the sponsorship, The Grascals will tour the country in its Mobil Delvac branded tour bus, which will be filled with Mobil Delvac 1300 Super 15W-40, a high performance diesel engine oil formulated to help extend engine life in on-highway and off-highway applications. The tour bus will have oil analysis sampling and testing done on a regular basis.

The concert will be held on-site in Freedom Hall of the Kentucky Exposition Center, immediately following the Friday edition of the Mid-America Trucking Show. Snakebite Racing is pleased to announce our new sponsor. The Peoples Journal

"This is a great fit for Snakebite Racing" said Bob Heans owner of Snakebite Racing. With the new sponsorship from ThePeoplesJournal.com this will allow us to be more competitive in our class.

Our agreement with ThePeoplesJournal.com is a multi year agreement that began at the Mopar Canadian Nationals in Grand Bend Ontario. Which was held July 17 thru 20th 2009 and run thru the 2011 racing season.

With a total rebuild of our car this winter we will be coming out with a new paint design and new graphics on the Consolidated Accounting Services, Morrison Automotive, ThePeoplesJournal.com Chevy Malibu.

Our first event will be at the 2010 Louisville Truck show in Louisville Ky. Were we will unveil the 1010 version of our car.
